You've missed nothing. It wasn't really that bad, but also not even good enough to finish it. Just play the first game for the 10th time or so 
In regards to the new one: I still have my doubts. Sure the rooms look diverse enough (maybe even too much) but neither am I sure of the boss ghosts nor of the treasure collecting, both being major points which made the first game such a gem and the second one so boring. I hope everything will turn out alright but you should check the game out carefully before buying, I won't buy a Switch this year so I'll have all the time to watch some gameplay. |
