So disappointed that the show isn't called "Sword Art Online Alicization-War of Underworld :we never learn" Season 2 as the article title seemed because I think that would be closer to correct given how the story in the first two cours went...

Waiting for Funi's other announcements. I'm assuming that they will get Psycho Pass 3, Radiant 2, and the other sequels coming out this season. They will also more than like stream FGO: Babylonia since they should the 0 episode around a month or so ago. They might also get Azur Lane because of their Bilibili connection.

As for the new stuff, I hope they get:
Val x Love
This Hero is Invincible but "Too Cautious"

Is there still no dub for Alicization? I love SAO, but I've watched the entire series in English through SAO2.

The dub is caught up with the Japanese version as of several months ago. It aired on Toonami/Cartoon Network.
In case you missed it, it was reported here on ANN back in January. animenewsnetwork.com/news/2019-01-24/sword-art-online-alicization-premieres-on-toonami-on-february-9/.142511

I really hope Crunchyroll will pick up the second season of SAOA. While I am subscribed to funimation, I prefer Crunchy's subs and it feels wrong for them not to get this season as they have been streaming SAO for over 77 episodes at this point.

Does anyone know if this is another case of the one company getting the dub in the other getting the sub? Just because FUNimation is streaming it it doesn't necessarily mean they're getting the sub and the dub.

I really wish there was an easier way to figure out who had what and in what language. The system is so broken.

Really hoping they get Africa salaryman along with a few others. The shows looks like it would be fun as hell

What should they learn exactly ? and what do you think is the measure of "learning" in an anime company ? lol

Alicization is selling at top of the chart as usual and being pretty successful.

The Novels each new volumes is almost always #1 best selling and in Top 5 most liked yearly ranking every year for past ~10 years.

they don't need to learn anything, they don't need to change anything. they just need to create more and count the money. Milk the cash cow lol

Who care if some people think Mob Psych is great and SAO is bad when Mob Psycho First BD sold like 1.5k in 2 week and SAO sold almost 10 time more than that.

SAO is #1 most anticipated anime of japan as well for Fall 2019.

that's what the anime company care, not anything else.

We Never Learn and SAO will definitely be sub-only. Those shows are licensed by Aniplex of America, so Funi's not going to be making dubs for them. AoA just likes to put their titles on as many services as possible - both of these titles also streamed on CR in their first seasons.

I can’t wait to see Asuna back in action again with the new season. I’m sure Crunchyroll will get the new season too. Aniplex would be foolish not to put it on there.

There's no way that's going to be sub-only...
