Hasn't this release been planned for a while now? I assume this is just the finalized release. Anyway, I'm excited to get this if I can.

Yeah It's a little weird that the press releases are treating it like it's a brand new announcement. I preordered mine from Right Stuf months ago and was very confused when they sent me an email a couple days ago "announcing" this release. |

$80 is a steep price for one movie. This is why I sometimes I feel shame for fellow disk collectors for allowing this to happen.

This is the price of the LE. There is a standard release for around $20. You don't need to call us suckers. |

It is pricey; but as already mentioned, this is a limited edition release rather than the standard. In probably any other case, I would pass on this, but for A Silent Voice I'm willing to make just one exception. |

Geez I guess A Silent Voice movie is still as popular as ever and going strong, and you can get all these new limited edition stuff.

... As tempting as this is - and it's surely tempting because of how GORGEOUS it is - I just can't afford to spend $80 on a single movie. On a full 13- or 26-episode set? Yeah, it's a little more justifiable to me. But for a movie? I just really can't. I'll stick with my standard Blu-Ray version of the movie.
But it is GORGEOUS though! |
