I hope we're still getting a wider release then for the finale, I missed the first one in theaters but caught the second one

I managed to see the 1st one but missed the 2nd one.

Is there anyway to legally watch the 2nd one? I tried buying the discs but they are way too expensive.

Yea there definitely better be a wide theatrical release either later in April or early May. That would be a huge mistake if this single-city premiere is all we get before the bluray release.

If you're in the US, there is no way to digitally purchase or stream any of the movies, which is weird since SAO and Kizumonogatari are at least purchasable digitally. The only way to watch them is to buy either the $40 bare-bones bluray, or the $70 collector's edition, for each movie. If you are in Canada or Europe, I believe the movies are streaming with French subtitles on Wakanim, last I heard.

Having also watched Lost Butterfly in theaters, the audience was fine for the prurient stuff. People laughed at the first scene because it was framed like a porno but stayed quiet for the second one because that scene was serious.

The worst part of the audience was some bum salivating over spoiler[Shinji's impending death] and ruining the tension.

I went to see both Heaven's Feel movies in theaters, and had fine audiences. Honestly the only "ill-timed(?)" laugh in the second movie was spoiler[when Sakura was licking Shirou's finger], because of course it was, that was ridiculous.

I saw both movies in the theater as well.

To be honest, I found both viewings of the movies to be rather annoying, though the second one was much, much worse.

I remember the guy behind me to be particularly annoying and he would often shout stuff like "this is what we paid for people" and "dam it man, she's made out of worms".

I'd like to see the third film, but I'm not sure if I'll watch it on the big screen.
