Guess they are planning on entering the Chinese streaming market. Probably won't affect us much.

As long as they stick with Chinese properties, they most likely will not run afoul of the Chinese government.

I wonder if this will allow Funimation to bring over some of Bilibili's Chinese animation.

That's what I'm wondering too.

Is any of it even worth airing?

I have no idea. I'm still a little interested just to find out.

A while ago, there was To Be Hero and To Be Heroine. Both quite bizarre to say the least. When watching Heroine, the dialogue will switch between Japanese and Chinese (forgot which dialect) depending on the setting, creating an interesting disconnect (this makes sense in context). Apparently A Centaur's Life was adapted by a Chinese studio, not a BiliBili studio (as far as I know), but still.

Everytime I read something about China here, I just hope we dont get Chinese propaganda in animated works they sponsor or create. Shortly after, my hopes are quickly dashed.

$400 million/17.3 million shares=about $23.12/share. Seriously, I wonder how much Sony of America hopes to profit from this!
