I stopped watching Kizuna when they introduced the "other" Kizuna's. Just wasn't the same.

I wasn't an avid viewer but since I saw her first video when it still had 5-figure views I've been interested and kept tabs on the whole phenomenon. Right around that time with the new kizunas and you could tell the voices were different, the ones that did sound like Nozomi.... she sounded mad burnt out. That combined with the "others" just gave me that sick feeling watching The Machine chew up another person. I stopped checking in after that.

Honestly, it was the worst kept secret in the fandom. Laughing Fans have known for over a year that Nozomi was the voice of Kizuna Ai. But, at least we finally have confirmation to put the whole thing to bed once and for all.

That's NOT a bad thing. It was great to have the gimmick and quite honestly, it did bolster Nozomi's career from being a minor background actor to a full-fledged A-lister. However, after business politics at upd8 under Yueichi Soejima and the Kizuna clones, it was honestly time for Nozomi to check out. The Ai-Chan character worked under her. You can't get that through cheap facades and then insult your target audience by acting like it's just as good as the real thing. Rolling Eyes

I wish Nozomi-chan well and by the looks of her YouTube channel, it appears she is doing very well! Smile
