Wonder if this will hinder Seven Seas' ability to license this spin-off when volumes come out. We've never seen any publisher other than Viz license a series that simulpubbed in MangaPlus.

Really surprised seeing this on Manga Plus. It's rare seeing content like this since usually they provide stuff from Jump.

And Jump+ content too, which this is.

Really? I thought this was from one of their shoujo labels!

Yep, they had the Hana yori Dango sequel too. Maybe it's something to do with it being easier to target separate demographics when its online.

Yeah, Jump+ in general has a wider variety of genres and topic than most of the stuff in the print magazine. You've way more intense fanservice stuff like the original World's End Harem but also more grounded character dramas like Blue Flag and niche topics that might not catch on with as wide an audience as WSJ demands (Moon Land comes to mind as a sports series about gymnastics). There's even some stuff that you would swear could run in a Shojo (Sign of Abyss) or Seinen (Soloist in a Cage) magazines, and that's just from the selections of stuff that's gotten published in English.
