Wish I could say I was surprised, but I tried IESD for all of a day before I was disappointed.

I consider one of the main draws of the original game series to be finding your own dark-horse favorites in a cast of literal thousands of unique playable characters (points for deciphering the username at left). You'd think they'd have plenty to work with for a mobile game, but no. Instead you get a very small sampling of characters from the new anime, with the usual endless costume variations.

"Story mode" was also just a paper-thin anime recap with very little effort put into it, and while the gameplay itself showed promise when playing against AI, any and all actual character growth had to be done through PvP, rather than the usual revolving solo quests, and required winning, which was nigh-impossible against what could only be described as an endless army of whales.

Clearly the expectation was for people to feel pressured into paying out to catch up, but with so many other, friendlier games on the market already, it didn't stand a chance. I guess Level-5 is still operating four ongoing Yo-Kai Watch mobage and Fantasy Life Online, so their mobile department is doing fine, I'm sure.

This was the one active piece of Inazuma media still going, though, so I just hope this doesn't lead to them pulling the plug on Great Road...

I tried it for a few minutes, but playing with a guide due to the fact it was in Japanese made it too annoying quite fast.

What I need is the Ares no Tenbin game, but with all these delays at this point it's becoming Duke Nukem Forever and it's probably not going to be released (or it will suck) which as an Inazuma fan is quite sad Sad
