probably just another title that got caught up in the divorce. Not in any way a surprise a dub is coming, but nice to have confirmation

I guess I hadn't realized that it disappeared, though I suppose now that I think about it, it wasn't showing up on the continue watching part of the app following the first episode.. If it is streaming on Crunchyroll but the dub is planned for later on Funimation, I'm guessing there was a pretty big oops moment and someone realized they didn't have rights for the sub version. Funimation and Crunchyroll have split things up like that before, and Funimation had the prior seasons while Crunchyroll has the rights to Brave Witches, so I could see where both might have wanted it.

Kinda bummer that this isn't a simuldub. Thought it would be a done deal. Still hoping on the OVA operation victory arrow to be dubbed too.

well Wakanim, which is part of the Funimation streaming group is still simulcasting it. And i think Animelab as well. So kinda odd licensing.
But why would they get the materials if they dont have the streaming license in the USA ?

It is disappointing. Considering how they initially started showing the Japanese version and then it was removed, it seems like something was goofed up with the licensing, so it's possible any plans to dub it this season got delayed. Throw in that they are still recording remotely, and it's possible that it was easiest to wait until later.

People who are disappointed that this one will not get simuldub are [expletive] entitled. Funi licensed 30+ shows this season and they have to dub those, not to mention the Spring and Summer holdovers that they still have to simuldub.
