Like the last gameplay trailer this come across as not actually attached to the game. It had more blocking animations featured but the character doesnt behave like it has a controller. Instead it appears to just be going through scripted sequences. Additionally its fight with the armoured spider appears to have unlimited stamina. The way he fought would have been suicide in the original dark souls. IE continously attacking until a single second before needing to block and then blocking several heavy hits. No lowering the shield to regain stamina.
I will be more interested in seeing how the game plays as opposed to the animation rigs they have here. This is designed to look good instead of demonstrate the game. |
