Well, other than the CGI (which doesn't look so bad, tbh) this looks pretty good. By far the most promising title of the whole batch of new Fuji Tv announcements today... Now if only this was 2d...

Happy to see that George Iida is doing the writing, because the visual style just isn't working for me. It's not even the fact that it's CG (which I can deal with), or even the fact that Oh! Great is doing the character designs (as I actually like his art style, on the whole). It just feels a bit "off" to me, that's all. Naoya looking nothing like a guy doesn't help either, unless this series is indeed gender flipping Naoya to be a woman now, which I'd be okay with, if only because it could open up new storytelling possibilities.

Still, I won't judge it any further than that. Having the original creator writing it should at least make it an interesting watch, regardless.

Oh my god!!! I loved the TV drama, as cheesy and silly it was, but I could never get into the TV anime - it was cheesy and stupid but in the worst possible way, and to make it worse it was really boring and visually ugly in a typical early '00s anime way. So I'm really excited about this!

I don't even care that it's a sequel and whatnot - just, more Night Head, and a potentially good Night Head anime!

Even better, this may mean they'll re-release the novels and I can finally read them...

Nope, Naoya is still a dude, the kanji used makes it clear (兄弟). And I'm pretty happy about that.
