God damn.... Can't believe even after giving this article a banner on the website it recieved 1 comment. People were genuinely pretty excited for it when the first season aired but the popularity as dropped exponentially. Wonder if the manga going to crap (from what I heard) has anything to do with it or they just waited too long. Kimetsu no Yaiba kinda stole the shonen spotlight away this last year.

I think waiting too long probably hurt the show's popularity when you compare Promised Neverland to the other big shonen shows of last year like Fire Force and Dr. Stone that were two cour shows and they've left much longer lasting impressions with anime fandom. And then the virus happened which ended up delaying the show even more.
