Udon Entertainment is releasing the manga in English

Are they still? Udon's last release was Volume 4 back in December 2018, while Japan's last collected release was Volume 9 this past May. I really enjoyed what we got of the manga, which is apparently very different from the anime in terms of tone (I haven't seen the anime yet, so I can't say), so I certainly hope Udon will return to releasing it the rest of Infini-T Force, but it's cool to hear that the manga is finishing up in Japan.

Udon and Dark Horse both seem to like licensing titles, releasing a couple volumes, then abandoning them to rot.

I think the main difference, though, is that Udon simply licenses too many manga for them to do at a single time. Ideally, they should only be handling 2-3 manga at any one point, since that seems to be all they can handle. I wouldn't be surprised if once Rose of Versailles finishes up, something like Infini-T Force (or even the unreleased Sugar Sugar Rune license) starts popping up on the schedule again.

Dark Horse Manga, on the other hand, is just part of a much larger publisher, one that I'm sure is more than happy to start cancelling releases if it under-performs. Dark Horse even promised the return of Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service last year, which never happened, almost as if the higher ups at the main publisher went, "Wait, why are you bothering to revive something that didn't sell before?".
