What about season 1? Would nice to hear some plans. I really don't understand releasing the dub for something when the target audience is people who don't watch the subs, but maybe there are more sub fans crossing over than I'd expect.

First Love is War, and now this? I hope this doesn't become a similar ordeal with Gintama's earlier seasons and the movie.

I'm wondering if this isn't some weird directive from Aniplex that they have to start with the most recent season for some reason. Funimation did it this way with Kaguya, and now Bang Zoom with this show.

I don't see where starting the dub partway through makes much sense. I doubt many viewers are going to want to switch languages halfway, and anyone waiting to watch it dubbed now has to wait until they circle back to episode 1. It's made all the more baffling since a lot recording is done remotely, which limits both the speed and quantity of their dubs, so it seems to not make a lot of sense to simuldub when they have to know that the audience for it is just going to end up waiting anyway.

I'm guessing both of them are because Aniplex wants the dubs done so they can get their home video/collectors editions out faster.

It always amuses me when newer VA's get lead roles in a franchise that debuted way before their career started, but kudos to Anairis Quinones for all the major roles she's been snagging lately (and Suzie Yeung is starting to pop up a lot too).

I remember thinking Matthew Mercer would be a good Tatsuya, but Alejandro Saab should be a great.

Now I guess we just need a second season for Rascal Does Not Dream... for that to finally get dubbed.

the real madnees part is when the trailer was released today, he souunds WAY TOO SIMILAR to mercer. if you compare to tatsuya's voice and those of law from one piece and levy from attack on titan, the voices are too identical!

if it wasnt for the fact that they had sabb's real face, most dub only viewers would assume that tatsuya really is being voiced by mercer via an alias due to union/non union rules! and in turn would have explained why he wasnt available to do any voice over roles for the latest destiny 2 expansion!
