I'm not buying Andrew Love as Menji, John Gremillion would have been a better choice, or maybe even Jason Douglas, failing that David Wald. Andrew nearly always sounds too much like a bro, he doesn't have that deep voice that Menji has in the Japanese dub. This is how I would expect Mugen from Samurai Champloo to sound.

Andrew Love is a lousy VA and giving him a lead role is a terrible idea. I have been praising Sentai for how much their dubs have improved in the last 5 years, but this dub trailer reminds me of those crappy Steven Foster dubs.

I wanted Keith Silverstein to come back from the first anime. He was pretty cool in the role.

As soon as I say the title, I predicted david matronga or Andrew love to be the voice of Manji. Surprises that I was half right. Admittedly, Jason Douglas would be the ideal voice for him but I'm glad Andrew is a lead role.

This is a sentai dub so of course Keith wouldnt be in it.
