So if I have TAN's VOD channel through Bright House Networks in the Central Florida area, will I be able to see this? Or is this just for TAN's broadcast channel?

I don't think American Anime Network's going to show it on their station for another month or so....

Hmm. Most of the nominated titles are mainstream series that simply aren't my cup of tea. Several, perhaps most, of the actual winners apparently didn't bother to show up. Some of the presenters don't look half bad though, at least based on what you can see over the relatively low-res broadband feed. A bit more cleavage and lots more innuendo than I might have expected for a medium I tend to associate primarily with childhood and adolescence, but I guess anime always has run the gamut from family friendly to fringe.

All right... our first teary-eye acceptance speech!

It's kind of sad that a lot of the winners couldn't make it (although understandable--this sort of thing isn't going to be like the Oscars, where you HAVE to be there unless you're REALLY busy). I love Vic's teary acceptance speech, though--it really shows how much he cares for fans and loves what he's doing, I think. He's an awesome guy, as well as an actor, so he really deserved that award.

(Still sad about no awards for Princess Tutu, though....oh well, at least they won on the Anime On DVD forums.)
