I hope it has a Gunslinger Girl reference. The two anime are pretty alike it seems, and based on GFL's story, Gunslinger Girl could TOTALLY be considered a distant prequel.

And the Girls' Frontline smartphone game recently collaborated with Gunslinger Girl, so that's a possibility. Also, I wouldn't be too surprised to see more smartphone games get extensive anime adaptations, given how often anime titles have gotten smartphone games. It would make sense for the adaptation flow to go both ways (I still don't understand why there's not more Fire Emblem anime, given the popularity of all the games, but oh well).

Since it's Warner Bros producing, it's likely going to be on Crunchyroll although I have no idea how the merger with Sony will affect it.

Good to know the english community still [expletive] cringe for this game going by how they cried over some yuri comments in threads. Hopefully they stay faithful with this
