Few things that stuck out to me as bizarre.

1.) According to Gematsu, there's is an English-language Steam page of this Idolmaster game, but it's region-locked which leads to...

2.)...how and why doesn't Bandai Namco even localize this for English-speaking regions? Are they afraid they won't be able to penetrate this game for Western regions because Bushiroad's other IPs and Love Live already got a strong foothold in them?

3.) How is this game not on the Switch?

I'm hoping for an an eventual English fan patch. Kinda bizarre to port it to PC and not bother trying to reach English speakers whatsoever.

The entire franchise has a blind spot for Nintendo, and indeed handheld releases. Platforms they would surely flourish on in their native country. I'm surprised we never saw a Vita instalment, and not getting a Switch is release is a further bafflement.

That's because Dearly Stars on the DS didn't sell very well. I know SP sold ok though, but the PSP had a very dedicated following in Japan.
