While I ended up liking season 1 a lot, season 2 is where it ultimately shines - hopefully CR catches up pretty soon. But there's no doubt it's a slow burner and I hope you like those songs because you're going to hear them a lot: season 3 especially is the most guilty of in that regard, at least those episodes which I've seen. While the song roster grows much more later on, it's going to be those few song very early.

As for the costumes, season 1 was a bit guilty of a little bit risque for a children's show, especially the Summer Maid coord, but it gets toned down later on; Pripara of the same franchise even had some parental complaints directed at it (for the ED specifically, which was later edited), not sure if there was anything like that involved here.

EDIT: rewrote some parts, corrected the coord name for example and some grammatical errors

This isn’t part of the Pretty Rhythm series. It’s part of the “Pretty” series. Pretty Rhythm is also part of the Pretty series, but is completely separate story and system wise.

This was like the WORST place to come in on the Pretty Rhythms/PriPara series.
PriPara probably would have been been better, I feel Aurora Dream and Rainbow Live are the strongest.

But I guess the YOutube and VTuber/VStreamers are all the rage right now and if it means we get the games here in English I'm for it. (WOuldn't mind having the PriPara game in ENglish.)

As a fan of Prichan, I do feel like season 1 does take a little bit to get quite good although it’s definitely the weakest season. Season 2 is definitely the best and hopefully crunchyroll gets it soon.

I just realized that I completely forgot to mention in the review my favorite detail in these episodes, which is Rinka reading TI by Stephan Queen. It's a very fun pop culture reference I didn't expect to see here, and even if it was a throwaway joke, it was a good one.
