I don't even know what the last game Grendizer was in was. It's cool that its actually getting something cool, considering we just passed the show's 45th anniversary with nothing to show for it.

I love Grandizer. But considering how old the franchise is and what it's like, this news feels more perplexing rather than exciting.

An action game? Now? Like, how?

Grendizer has been in the Super Robot Wars series since 1991 and continued to appear in the series.

currently, it's on the mobile games X-Omega and DD.

I think the reason is that Grendizer was one of the first anime that exploded in popularity in countries like France and Italy, where it debuted before Mazinger Z, so many people have a lot of nostalgia for the show. Though I don't think what type of game could it be, perhaps somethink like the Godzilla games where you fight different kaiju. I just hope that Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger are included as well.
