This is great news! I watched it (maybe on TAN VOD?) back in the aughts, but missed the final third of show for some reason. I always meant to finish watching it, and now I can.

This show will probably always be one of my top favorites, I watch it every year or two at least once and have a few disks of the music in it which I love SO much! I'm personally not partial to the dub, but if it means more people can see it then I am thrilled!

I still hope against hope that Ai Yazawa can finish this series or continue it at some point.

It really bothers me that they drip feed episodes for classic shows like this. This isn't a simulcast. The show has been around for ages. Just dump the entire series on your platform. One of my biggest pet peeves with HiDive, as they seem to be the only one who does this for older shows.

^ I find that strange too. Why piece meal us episodes for a show that's over 10 years old? Seems dumb to not just have the show readily available to watch in its entirety. This is very annoying Rolling Eyes

The weekly release is intended to keep people subscribed to Hidive. Things have been thin at Sentai for years, so it's not as though they have plenty of other "new" material for people to check out.

Crunchy and Funimation did the same thing for Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199 and Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2202. As Primus says, they drip feed the Really Big Attractions to keep that sweet, sweet subscription money coming in.
