I'm still a little sad we aren't getting a Limited Edition for this show, but alas, at least Vinland Saga is.
It definitely feels like a standard Sentai cast for the most part, although I haven't heard practically any child roles from Chaney Moore (I figured they would hire a veteran like Luci Christian since Dororo kinda carries the entire show for a while vocally-speaking). Part of me wishes we got to hear more of the voices in the trailer, but its probably better for newcomers to just show a scene from episode 1, at least for this show. Leaves a bit more mystery haha |

This might seem a random question to ask, but where is Greg Ayres and is he okay?
I haven't seen him listed in a dub in awhile. I understand some are happy to get a break from seeing him in every Sentai dub, but it is weird I haven't see him listed for months. |

While we haven't heard anyone else except for Dororo, the casting looks right, at least for the people I know, a fair few I've never heard of. Dororo was never going to sound like the original since they wouldn't be able to get a child actor. I don't know why Kyle would get none regulars Josh Grelle and Jad Saxton to play characters who only appear in 2 and 1 episodes respectively. It's funny though because I heard someone say that Gosh should play Hyakkimaru, and here he is in the show playing someone else.

He still does voice acting, just not a ton. To Love Ru Darkness is a recent Sentai release he is in. Food Wars Season 4 was somewhat recent. For FUNimation he is in My Hero Academia. |

He was also the lead in The Pet Girl of Sakurasou dub Sentai released. |

This is a fairly average looking cast from Kyle Jones it doesn't do much for me. Adam Gibbs cast in another lead role won't make your dub any more compelling Kyle next time try to be a bit more bolder instead of playing it safe.

I only ask because I because I use to see he all the time when Sentai released a dub. I figured his roles weren't recasted (not with his distinctive voice), it was just something I noticed. |

I wonder if Luci will sing Mio's parts or they leave it in the Japanese dub. But I'm surprised they didn't showcase the main voices and not just Dororo's. But considering Dororo is hiding a secret, I'm a bit surprised they didn't get one of the ladies that do young kids as this part considering the truth there. But from what I saw, it does look pretty good.
Edit: Had no idea the VA chosen for Dororo was female. Never heard or her myself...the name sounded like a guy there. |
