It is too bad licenced Games like...The Punisher are not in this collection. The Punisher joined by Col. Nick Fury vs numerous Marvel Villains is better than any Final Fight Game. To me the Best Marvel Arcade Game by Capcom!

Hopefully if this is successful enough, Capcom will be able to bring in more titles. I'm hoping they'll do ALIENS vs Predator down the line since It was on their 'logo console' not too long ago.

I've already gotten everything this release has to offer, including the recently released extra borders and invincibility mode. Very thankful that Capcom didn't mandate the 'Always Online' schtick like they did for their 'Final Fight' release for the PS3.

Releases like this are based on quantity and warm feelings. Not a bad thing, but you’re paying for value of a lot of games in one package. This seems to accomplish it, especially since Cyberbots isn’t around in too many places.

I'm a little disappointed that Black Tiger didn't make the cut, or that highscores don't save. Although with the ability to rewind, maybe that's for the best on the score thing? Granted, I can save the game on the title screen and load that every time I start it up, but that's kind of cumbersome.

I do love, however, that you can play with a twin-stick control system for Forgotten Worlds. That is just fantastic.

Northlander, Mercs is in the Collection too. Mercs is one of 2 80’s Games where you Rescue The President of The USA. Either Mercs or Bad Dudes Vs Dragon Ninja had you rescue President Ronnie. Now if Midway would release a collection including...NARC! You and a pal fight The War On Drugs in spectacular fashion. Even the First Lady appeared before the start of the game suggesting that the Players “Just Say No To Drugs”! First Lady Nancy Reagan.
Supposedly Bad Dudes vs Dragon Ninja is going to come out for Intellivision Amico! Maybe The Bad Dudes will rescue President Joe now!

If we're being fair Final Fight came in 1989, The Punisher game came out in 1993 and by then a number of advancements had been made so of course it was better than the original Final Fight game.

BadNewsBlues, Oops. I meant better to me, as The Punisher And Nick Fury are in my Top Five of Fave Marvel Heroes. A 2D Side Scroller featuring Them, rather than Final Fight Heroes is what makes The Punisher the Better Game To me.

I prefer Alien VS Predator, but Punisher was good too. Not surprised at the lack of licensed games, though. Some of them are probably never going to be released ever.

AmpersandsUnited, Licensing is a funny thing. A game is produced, but after the contract ends the company cannot release it without agreement and pay to the license holder. I rewatched the pilot ep of My all time Fave TV Series...The A-Team. There was an escape where The Rolling Stones song Jumping Jack Flash was in the background, but not on the dvd or recent airings. I know why this is, but there are many games I still would love to pick up, but can’t.

I really wanted to get Cyberbots and Strider, but apparently they aren't available separately.
It's more than I want to be shelling out right now for the whole collection, so I guess that I'm waiting for a sale.

List of games can be found here..
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capcom_Arcade_Stadium

Previous releases like Capcom Arcade Classics 1 & 2 had a better lineup. so not really a must have for me. I am still finding these releases to be lack luster, you can very easily home brew an arcade compilation even limiting yourself to just Capcom titles with just the slightest bit of effort.

1Up Arcade has cabinet featuring X-Men (the beat em up), Marvel Super Heroes, & The Punisher.....somehow.

Probably the limited number of units was earlier to resolve the licensing issues.
I recall the Capcom logo arcade thing had some rare licensed games, too.

Best thing about this collection is the Special Challenges, having more CPS2 titles and having the Japanese ROMS as optional (not exactly new for Capcom's collections this gen but for Street Fighter in particular, it was a very nice surprise).

https://www.capcom-arcade-stadium.com/us/topics/topics210427.html

If they really are adding more soon then I hope to see some games that were previously released (like Son Son, Block Block, Buster Bros & Super Puzzle Fighter) and more CPS2 and maybe CPS3 stuff added and if possible, Naomi as well,

The arcade version of Ghouls N' Ghosts, released in Japan in December 1988, just barely missed the release date selection criteria for the second collection (1989-1992) by a month. Ghouls N' Ghosts is my favourite of the games in the collection and, if Ghouls N' Ghosts had been included in "Arcade Revolution" instead of "Dawn of the Arcade", it would easily be a must buy for me. The arcade version is superior to the Genesis version, at least graphically (I think I legitimately prefer how the music sounds on the Genesis), but I don't know if I'd buy "Dawn of the Arcade" just for Ghouls N' Ghosts because I don't really have any attachment to any of those other games in the first collection and also because I did recently get a Sega Genesis Mini which has the not-arcade-perfect-but-still-pretty-darn-good Genesis version.

I might just buy the arcade version of Ghouls N' Ghosts individually on Steam to play on PC (although I wish they'd also put it on Mac since my 2012 Macbook Pro is more powerful than my potato HP laptop from 2013).

On the other hand, I suppose "Dawn of the Arcade" does also have the original Ghosts N' Goblins which I've admittedly never played (I didn't have an NES) but the background graphics on the arcade version of that one are a bit plain-looking compared to Ghouls N' Ghosts.

I really, really regret not picking up those Capcom Arcade Classics disks for PS2 when they could still be easily found in bargain bins back in the mid-to-late 2000s. I never see either of them at Value Village (a.k.a. "Savers" in some US states) thrift stores.
