This is nothing like that because the Red Ranger was a teenager and Rita Repulsa was an old hag. It's more like "What if Tenaya fell in love with Truman in Power Rangers RPM?".

I'm very excited Ikumi in this anime she's perfect but I can't say the same about Kobayashi. In my mind I think somebody else is better like um... Uchida Yuuma or Takeuchi, Shunsuke

I'm used to Kobayashi portraying earnest, dorky, heroic characters so I think he's a perfect fit here.
Ikumi sounds great here. I'm glad she's getting more lead roles.

Pretty good trailer to me. I see we will be having fanservice in this. Fumihiko Tachiki (Ddraig) is narrating, which is nice.

More like if the Red Ranger and Scorpina fell in love. Because Desumi is not the leader, but a high rank general. And also young.
It's a fun manga, I'm curious to see how the anime does.

Actually I remember the Blue Ranger falling in love with the daughter of the evil leader in Time Force so is not a new idea.

We also had Zhane the Silver Ranger and Astronema from Power Rangers in Space.
