I live in eastern PA north of Philly, and Saikou Con was my first con believe it or not. I went to the one in 2017 when it was in Allentown and I never got to go back. I got to meet R. Bruce Elliot and to this day it's the best panel I ever went to. Gonna cherish the memories I had there.

I knew of this con, living in the area, but never got to attend. Sadly I won't have that chance now...
To Jex, 7f you're looking for another smaller local con to visit now, there is Colossalcon East coming up in September at the Kalahari Resort & Water Park in the Pocono Mountains, PA

Saikoucon 2015 was my first ever con, and I went back every year with the 2017 in Allentown being the best by far, now the region just has CCE which probably will become the regions biggest con by far, especially with the convention center updates.
I want to debut my new $1500 Hatsune Miku cosplay at Saikoucon, would have been a blast so now I have to jump straight into the deep end with her lol

There's also Zenkaikon that takes place in Lancaster too if you're interested. Usually takes place in the March-April time frame.
