Meh, this setup is pretty wack but I guess what matters is the journey so who cares.

I added both this and the other one to the spreadsheet, but I'm not 100% confident in the LN dates -- I just checked the first volumes on Amazon.co.jp. Anyone know whether the ones I put are right?

I hadn't heard of this one and know nothing about it beyond the premise, but it sounds pretty good? I've read a lot of "kicked from the party" stories, and this one seems to have promise in that genre:

- no "cheat" abilities
- found family vibe
- no (apparent) harem

Seems to have potential, hopefully it ends up being good.

This series is okay. Has a few good ideas and some elements I'm not crazy about. I imagine how at least one of the characters was betrayed will incite another controversy around here.

As far as "kicked from the party" stories go, it's not as good as next season's Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside; but does do more with its premise than most stories in the subgenre.

Now if only Welcome to the Impregnable Demon King Castle could get picked up.

No Harem, but I wonder if there will be relationship development among the party?

I was thinking the same thing. All backstories are given up front so this isn't a late series spoiler or anything: spoiler[The priest was a very popular and beloved member of the clergy. But one little girl loved him too much and when he rejected her, she claimed he assaulted her. Other priests jealous of his popularity sided with her and got him kicked out.]

I have only read the manga and there is some hint of romance between the party, the two girls with the MC, but it has not gone anywhere yet.

That's all good. A point in its favor. Always like when the betrayer's fall. Going to read this one.

Oh yay, because women are all obviously evil temptresses who will accuse anyone of rape if they don't get their way, right? Teeheehee! Ugh, this trope really shouldn't be used so frivoulously, especially since it gives a bad name to actual sexual assault victims who are often blamed for their own struggles.

Is there some sort of secret competition for 'longest Japanese fiction title that actually makes sense in context'?

Keiichi Sigsawa, of Kino's Journey and SAO: Alternative fame, wrote this and could not think of a proper title.

What about the people who were falsely accused of sexual assault? so your saying they should not matter? They also face struggles to you know and it is a lot more common than people think it is.

Sexual assult happens a lot but false sex accusations also happens frequently so it should be highlighted as both in equilibrium.

Besides only one guy got delt with this, its not like it being shoved into your face so let them use it.
