Tired - live-action Cowboy Bebop
Wired - live-action Spy x Family

(seriously though, can someone make the latter happen)

Looks okay? Daniella as Faye looks the best IMO, John and Mustafa almost crossed a line of "cosplay look", but in the end it's fine. I can't wait for the finished product, it's gonna be blast, either in bad or in acceptable way Laughing

Cautiously, cautiously optimistic about this. I live in eternal hope. My actual first words upon seeing Daniella as Faye were, "Faye has actual clothes on! They're not vacuum-sealed to her breasts~!"

Meh. It's a Netflix adaptation, and we all know what that means. Maybe I'll watch out of curiosity, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Anyway, looks OK as far as I'm concerned. You're never going to get real humans look like very stylized cartoon characters, and I'm fine with that. I'm more interested in seeing the actual product.

Given that Ed did not appear in the original 26-episode anime until episode 9...

She gets on their nerves sometimes, but I don’t think any of the other characters hate her that much.

Or, to be serious, her name’s in the plot summary, so presumably she’ll show up.

Making their outfits look good is easy. Making everything about this adaptation good? Less so.

While I'm sure it'll look nice visually,I expect it to be medicore in the writing department like a lot of Netflix shows. Even if it's bad, it's not like the original is going to disappear. I do look forward to hearing Yoko's OST for it though, which I'm sure will be the best thing out of it!

Gonna give it a chance, but still not holding any hope out for the series.

John Cho does look pretty good in this imagining.

But, the sets look a little cheap to me (dunno if it is the lighting or what).

So based on the screenshots, it looks like they will be telling a different story. The sceeen with the trio and Ein has them behind the back of the bar from Mad Peirrot, even though Spike was the only one to fight him in the anime. Most likely just a reference. The church looks almost exactly like Ballad of Fallen Angels, however. Honestly, cautiously optimistic. The real struggle to improve will be the actual writing. I do think you can see Netflix has put a lot of money in this. I do wonder if this will show that One Piece has potential....
