FINALLY!
I'm normally good with just watching a seasonal title subbed, but Kageki Shojo!! is one show I love enough to rewatch dubbed. |

This cast looks really good, I'm really interested to see how Siv Ryan does since it's their first role. Monica and Natalie Rial as the twins are good choices as well.

Been watching the sub week to week, but super excited to check this dub out. There's a nice mix of familiar names and people I don't recognize (plus this is Siv's first lead role in an anime, so really excited to hear him as Sarasa)!
Also, its pretty cool to see the "special thanks" credit for Katrina under the cast & crew list. She's now been involved with the manga translation, the anime translation, and (I assume) consulting on the dub - I don't think that's super common! |

Yeah, her translations are often said to be pretty good, and she's been bringing to light a lot of issues and nuances that come with translating anime as a whole, along with struggles involving low pay and lack of credits (No thanks to Crunchyroll). |

Been waiting for this dub for a while. Very excited to watch. I was wondering who would voice the lead. Never heard of this VA but I'm always excited to hear someone new. I hope Sound Cadence announces Sonny Boy next. They did two anime last season which both finished, so I'm hoping they do two this season and that their second one is Sonny Boy, as I've heard nothing but great things about it and it seems interesting.

Well the good news is that we know a Sonny Boy dub is happening considering a casting side went out for an Indian/South Asian actor a few weeks back and the dialogue was verbatim from Sonny Boy's first episode. The bad news is that we don't know when its dropping haha |

Having a newer name leading as Sarasa is pretty cool, as is having Xanthe as the fellow lead.
It's always nice to see AmaLee in something new. The Rial sisters playing actual twins and sisters is pretty awesome. I believe the Ending is sung by the main cast, so I wonder if they might replicate that with the English cast? If only for the DVD release. |

Aaaaand that was the push I needed to (eventually) watch it. I think Sarasa is the kind of character a dub actor can have a lot of fun with.

Finished the first dubbed episode and it was pretty good. Ai's a nice change of pace from the usual cutesy girl roles I've heard Xanthe in and Siv Ryan's a promising new addition to the world of anime voice acting. Looking forward to watching more!

Watched the first episode earlier today and really enjoyed it, though I expected as much considering how much my friends have been raving about the show lol. The voice performances were very good and Siv did an excellent job as Sarasa in particular. I might be 9 episodes behind my friends but I'll be enjoying it nonetheless.
