I also thought this was a Shinji x Kaworu dj from the thumbnail lol. I guess some of the character design could be handwaved with "it's just similar not the same" but the layouts and dialogue (from what I can gather from google translating the pages) are way too similar to overlook

I'm more concerned by how the title was lifted from the Tennessee Williams classic.

READ A BOOK!

Damn like one of this things by itself I'd kinda handwave but all of it? Yeah, I think there's a problem here.

Also looking at those links that kid is totally Shinji.

Ok, so a Korean comic named after a classic play but having nothing to do with said play, gets canceled because it plagiarized famous manga and anime, rather than the play.

Sounds like a mess from conception.

Imagine the odds that this creator goes through a career revival from this like Chihayafuru's author did after she got caught for plagiarism.

That comment prompted a fun stroll down memory lane to refresh my memory... but it's a very different situation here :) Yuki Suetsugu was an established creator already with 10+ years of work when the plagiarism incident happened. Maybe that makes it worse (as an established creator she of anyone should have known better) but on the other hand, she had previously proved her own skill despite making some really regrettable choices. I don't know who this creator is but they probably don't have the experience or reputation to pick things up for a new start. (if the plagiarism was caught within a month of serialization, I'd question whether they had any significant originality to contribute in the first place.)
