I had a decent time watching this one. My main complaint is that Letty is one of the ugliest looking dragons I've ever seen.

I enjoyed this series in spite of Letty, who I thought was the worst part of the show. I enjoyed the gaming references, the world building and fantasy setting. I hope we get more because I just want to explore more of this world.

I still can't get over the fact that Letty is voiced by the same man who plays Angel Dust in Hazbin Hotel. Because of this, I keep expecting Letty to make some kind of sex joke, or even say "Harder, daddy!" Even one of ANN's videos pointed out just how out there this casting choice is...and to be honest, I want Kovach to work on more anime, because he's great! He's got this perfect nasally, 90-pound wimpy nerd voice.

Dragon Goes House Hunting was one of my favorite under-rated shows from 2021 but it seemed like barely anyone watched it or talked about it. I thought Letty was a precious cinnamon bun and I enjoyed his dynamic with Dearia. I really liked the humor poking fun at JRPG tropes and I also appreciated the show actually was a pretty thoughtful commentary about the way heroes treat monsters in fantasy stories and it was a nice discrimination allegory to the story. I also liked the various fantasy creatures Letty met on the journey like the merman and the furry fanclub who really looked up to him and over-exaggerated his accomplishments. My only wish was besides that I wish we got a second season was I wish we got to see more of Nell who we didn't really get to see much of till the last few episodes and she was a great addition to the cast. But even if we never get a s2, I thought it ended at a solid point and the manga is at least in English. I also thought the OP was a bop and I still listen to it frequently. I also agree that the dub is really good and I loved the unique variety of voice actors that they got and Michael Kovach was a perfect choice for Letty and I loved Steven Kelly as Dearia. This might be one of my top favorite anime of 2021 actually.

I really enjoyed this series, it's right up there with Isekai Shokudou in terms of peaceful relaxation. Watched it with my 70-year old mom when I was visiting, and she really enjoyed it too, so it has the family seal of approval.
