Excellent. Was hoping we wouldn't have to wait too much longer once we got word of a King's raid dub

Ok, it's actually pretty cute that Megan Shipman, the voice for Hanamaru in Love Live Sunshine, is directing the dub for Nijigasaki just like how Catlin Glass, the voice of Maki in Love Live OG, directed the Sunshine dub. Generational dubbing at its finest! Surprised

Can't say much for the cast since I'm not familiar with their names, so we'll see how this goes

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that.

I hope Shu can reprise her role as Mia in the English dub since her VA is bilingual.

Are we absolutely certain that "Lindsay Siebel" isn't actually a typo for Lindsay Seidel?

Judging by some of the posts on her Twitter account, I'm pretty sure that Megan Shipman is a Love Live! superfan, so it would have surprised me if she wasn't involved in this Smile. I'm glad to see her living out her dream!

Not a bad idea, but extremely unlikely. I don't think there's even been a case of a dubbing studio getting ahold of seiyu for dubs, even if they can speak English fluently.

Only one that comes to mind is ADV getting Mari Ijima to voice Minmay in their dub of Macross, but Ijima had been living in the US for years already by then. I can't imagine any US company trying to direct and record with an actor overseas.

There was also D4DJ First Mix anime with Karin Kagami reprising Maho in the English dub so it is doable. Question is if the producers are willing to do that for Shu Uchida.
