Looks like a crazy motorcycle race anime.

I'd thought the descriptions of the two fictional series in Anime Supremacy! were of shows that would have a sort of "careful respectability" to them. I'm intrigued they've got this much real-world presence now, but with no previous announcements I'm still quite ready to suppose this is as much as we'll get and it's all some unusual stunt to promote the novel again. Both series were presented in fiction as having had a lot of effort put into their production... (On the other hand, there was a third series mentioned in the novel as airing during the same three months, and it just happened to be a "girls' sailing" show where plenty of fanworks slashing the characters with each other were being turned out.)

These anime look promising. But let me see if I got this right, there's a novel about people making/directing anime, and these two in-universe anime are going to materialise in our own universe, in other words, "become real".

Why they don't make an anime of the novel itself? Something like Shirobako. I really liked that anime.

I only thought about this after making my previous post, but perhaps these trailers are meant to tie into a live-action movie or TV series adapting the novel; that might explain why Toei in particular is streaming them and there'd been no "series in production" announcements here before... The novel didn't have "light novel-style" illustrations, so I could imagine it being pointed to a "live-action adaptation" sphere. (The question there, I suppose, is how... idealized the animation studios will be presented as.)
