Final Fantasy 14 has seen a surge of popularity recently and an increase in players. This is nice to see.

Yeah I am one of the newbies who jumped ship from WoW in August. Mostly due the the Blizz Activation scandal but compounding the issue was the fact that when I tried out FFXIV it was just..... waaay better. And all my Guild were doing the same at the same time. |

The real plot twist is that boost in numbers is all coming from a FFXI resurgence.
But in all seriousness, it's good to see that FFXIV is doing so well for the company considering the foot it started on. I'm looking forward to the saga's final story beat this December. |
