"Stole"? They simply won the bid for streaming right.
Overreacting much?

A company, which has absolutely no innvovlement with anime streaming, suddenly decide to pop up and get the exclusive streaming licence for a highly anticipated show.
I'm fine with calling that stealing.

Still pretty much an overreaction. Maybe they saw potential in the competition.

I'm worried that the pace will be too fast trying to fit everything into 25 episodes....

I wouldn't be so sure about "exclusive". The article says that Disney+ will stream it exclusively in Japan, but about overseas streaming it's only said that they'll stream it worldwide. So there's still a possibility that CR/Funi/Netflix could stream it too.

I think two cours is exactly right. The manga went really fast nearing the end so I was actually hoping that the anime would slow it down a bit. But I agree that the pacing for this series would be tricky.

If the Japanese powers that be are smart, they will give it to either Sentai, Funi, or Crunchyroll as those 3 are great with weekly streams compared to Netflix.

Uhm, saying they'll stream it worldwide too means they'll use one of their platforms to stream it. It's stated outright they even licensed the show for overseas distribution.

Hard for me to believe Disney+ is streaming this, but it looks interesting.

It'd be nice if they had shown a little more. Granted, I understand that's hard because the twists in the series come very quickly (especially after the festival) but even just showing and announcing some of the other main cast. I don't think we've seen anyone but Shinpei, Ushio and Mio in either PV.
