In the LA Times article on this, they mis-spelled "manga" about 4 or 5 times. They spelled it "magna". Geez, get a better proofreader...

I guess that auto correct function isn't perfect. I'm really surprised that this got front page (Calendar section) coverage and not only that it had three large images, hell even the article points to Tezuka fans saying how The Lion Kings is a rip of Kimba the white lion. Overall it's great to hear that several different publication pick this up, hopefully I'll be able to make a trip to see this show. |

Glad it's getting good feedback. I live a few blocks away from the museum, so I'm definitely checking it out sometime during the summer.
And Lion King is more similar to Shakespeare's Hamlet than it is to Kimba the White Lion, imo. |

I'm just reading the Schodt stuff, and I'm glad he's telling it like it is in the SF article. I just hope that he'll be done with Phoenix 12 soon...
