If the whole reason behind not letting the magazine publish the name is the superstition associated with number 13, then what a sad world it is.

If it's indeed the reason, I find it weird. Isn't unlucky 13 more a foreign thing? Don't Japanese (and East Asians in general) have their own unlucky number... 4?

I wish ANN had more summaries available for the titles not yet licensed in the US. I’m so curious.
Dandadan is fantastic. It’s off-the-wall action with (dark) humor and a good dollop of heart. Fans of Chainsaw Man and Dorohedoro should check it out! I hope Viz publishes it in print soon! (And makes it available on their mobile app. It’s available on their browser reader and Shueisha’s Manga + app has the first 3 and latest 3 chapters available on their mobile app, but for some reason Viz thinks it’s too hot for iOS? I don’t get it.) |
