Isn't it usually spelled "Cox" when used as a surname? You'd think his family would've had it changed years ago.

Usually yes... [as an example, InuYasha's English VA has his last name spelled that in the credits.]

But yeah, I too replied here to see the obvious joke of the CEO's last name.

I have personally felt that Richard should be a mandatory name for men with that last name (or a similar one, like Dickerson).

IIRC he was handling Wizards of the Coast before this.

I have wondered if him coming from WotC to head up all of Hasbro will have any impact on the rest of the company. I believe the D&D department at WotC might be the most profitable part of Hasbro at the moment?

I mean, when you have the surname Trickle and you name your son Richard, you know what you're doing.

On topic, hopefully coming from WotC the guy will finally get us those D&D action figures after Drizzt ended up being a false start. Then again that figure came out in 2020 as a Hasbro Pulsecon exclusive and still isn't sold out so maybe their experiment failed if one of D&D's most popular and recognizable characters can't sell out over a year later.
