That's...different. Make a comic book about my watch.
That might be intresting...but who are they targeting?

Mommy, Daddy buy me this watch- I saw it in a comic book and it tells time really well. It might even have a mini light but still..this seems...odd.

or is this some way to grab the otaku's attention and dvd money? Confused

Jiro Taniguchi's manga are directed more at Mommy and Daddy. Japan has a much more diverse comics readership than the United States; there are even successful manga magazines that appeal to middle-aged readers.

Interesting. I'm most excited about Moebius. Too bad no one cares about European comics. They sell worse in America than American comics. Then again, I don't see most current manga fans even knowing Jiro Taniguchi. Even I admit mostly ignorance of his work.
