Ah, I was told this was more than a school Harem story...the key visual definitely indicates that.

Just finished the fifth light novel of the series.
Yeah it is more than just a harem series, even though there is a reverse harem in it. spoiler[Though of the fifth novel it seems to be moving into harem territory. I hope it doesn't, because I like the two leading ladies and they don't need any more trouble than they already have. The author seems intent on forcing the issue with his leading man, giving him little choice in the matter. So while it hasn't happened yet, the red carpet has been laid out and the shotgun is rising up. So we will see where the author goes with this. Have my fingers crossed.] The background is that this is a high tech/fantasy series based off a otome game. This is for the most part a light hearted action/adventure series with an otome game background, that pokes more fun at otome and harem games, and classic science fiction. While I said light hearted, which it is, it does have it's moments of darkness. I think anime doesn't have much problem in mixing in a bit of darkness to even their most light hearted of shows. So if you don't like darkness in your light hearted shows, don't watch, cause it does have a bit of evil realism to it. Really hope the anime does some justice to the backgrounds. Floating continents and islands should be a great visualism. But if it is just painted static backgrounds, it is just gonna suck. |
