He was such a great (and tall btw) Japanese actor. He was always a delight in the Godzilla movies that he starred in. sigh It sucks to lose yet another OG talent. Rest in Peace, good Sir. I hope you can meet Momoko Kochi, Takashi Shimura & Akihiko Hirata up there

I don't recall if it's ever been confirmed, but it absolutely seems like the sort of thing SSSS GRIDMAN would do. I obviously knew he wouldn't stay with us forever, but it's still sad to see another one of the franchise's pillars pass on. I hope he went peacefully; he left a great legacy. |
