Geno Studio improved greatly for each season of Golden Kamuy they did but Brains Base's take looks very good here without showing a noticeable change in style from what came before.

Brains-Base was one of my favorite studios back in the days when they made quirky shows like Baccano!, Natsume Yuujinchou and Kurenai. I didn't watch much from them after Akikan until last year's In/Spectre. That show had its problems, but it carried on the quirky spirit and reminded me Brains-Base's excellent taste in music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cP9CKvQLbMc

Yeah I get the feeling the show is in good hands. But a part of me still wishes it was Geno just because of how well the turned the production around on it.
