I never got into Kids on the Slope, but I like the art style.

If you only watched the anime I really recommend trying the manga. I think the manga is really good, but the anime was a weirdly soulless affair that never even tried to recapture the essence of the manga and focused instead on the animation. (IIRC in an interview Watanabe Shinichirou even said he was contractually obligated to make it so he'd be allowed to make Terror in Resonance.)

I look forward to Kodama's new work - Ao no hana didn't keep my attention, but I'm curious what she'll do next.
