They never said 3rd season would be Ep 25-48, they only said production up to Ep 48 was planned. If this season’s third film is the end of the season then the season will end at Ep 36. So there will be a 4th season that consists of Ep 37-48.

Episodes 25 - 48 are set to air roughly 24 weeks straight after the movies are done. So in a sense the TV release is all one season.
