I need that artbook for my collection, but I'm really not thrilled about the My Nintendo Store exclusivity. It'll probably sell out before most people (myself included) even know preorders are live.

I second concerns about the LE stock being way too limited. The artbooks for XB2 and the rerelease of 1 were both excellent, and I'd love a third.
Interestingly, preorders are already open on the Japanese My Nintendo Store, and they include an option to order the LE bonuses (the artbook, etc.) without the game at a significantly reduced price.

And the JP store seems to be refusing my order with no error code, even though I have the money and it's a JP account with a JP address. That's fun. Hopefully the US store doesn't collapse on itself when preorders go live, since I guess that's my only option now.

Well that's a perfect solution. People could just easily buy the book separately if they missed out on the LE.

1, "2" had close ended endings.

they need to port it....its only xeno game I've never played because the WII U sucked for jrpg gamers so i never bought it. xenogears/xenosaga and xenoblade all are pretty great and I've always wanted too try that one....

I wonder if Xenoblade 3 releasing in July means that Splatoon 3 will be released in Septemeber. I remember people saying that Xenoblade 3 was going to be one of the first games taking advantage of the Switch Pro, saying that Nintendo is probably going to reveal the console in June, but this announcement is just another evidence that there's probably no such thing as a Switch Pro yet

Is this game supposed to link the worlds or Xenogears/Saga in some way or atleast connect to the rest of the series or is that just some conspiracy theory.

I don't feel like I often hear about a game coming out earlier than planned.

Agreed! As much as I'm looking forward to Xenoblade 3, X left me with so many questions. Don't just end the game on a cliffhanger like that and then not make a sequel. I need answers!
I hope they'll consider porting X to the switch or whatever console comes after, since I don't imagine the Wii u release reached as many people as the other games in the series due to the console it was on.

So... is Xeno 3 going to the Aegis that was lost? Cause I was still really, really hoping that it was Alvis all along.
Either way super excited for Xenoblade 3 and I'm glad for once that a release date was pushed up instead of back.

I sincerely hope Nintendo never releases a Switch Pro version just because so many people have been constantly speculating on it since Switch was released and doubling down on it being a thing.

If Nintendo had released a system that could play in higher resolutions (along with doing /having other things the base model of the Switch can’t do/doesn’t have) you wouldn’t have all this drama.

As deliciously anime twee as ever (excluding Xenoblade 1). Lets defeat the evil ruling governments with the power of love. Hahaha that bit made me laugh out loud. You really cant take it seriously.
Combat looks insane, 2 was at times hard to handle with all the unexplained stats and combinations. With 8 characters and two wheels of abilities this looks even more complex.

Don't we basically already know that to be the case? We know that (X1 and X2 ending spoilers)the trinity processer was used in a contact experiment with the Conduit/Zohar that resulted in the universe being split in two. The Ontos Aegis broke off from the other two Aegis' creating it's own alternate dimension. Which is the Xenoblade 1 world. That Alvis is the creator of. Also, in the remastered version of X1 they replaced the key pendent around Alvis' neck with what looks exactly like a red Aegis core crystal
Since X3 seems to be the X1 and X2 worlds fused together somehow I'm sure they're going to expand on that.

Yup. What really sucks is the the XC2 LE was not an exclusive, so it was pretty easy to get... really not looking forward to parking XC3 in a plastic case next to XC2's steelbook on my shelf.

Shit, You're right. I am an idiot. I completely forgot that. It's been so long since I played. I was planning to do a replay but uh... maybe not in 2 months.
