We're all gonna be NICE to Stephen Fu, you hear me? Its a sucky situation to have to come in when someone leaves after the first season, but its not his fault and we all better be polite You Hear?!

Look i know wthey cant capture the exact same voice tone as Billy did that much is impossible so i am not going to hold it against them.
It just sucks with how the current situation had to result to this. |

It's nice to see an LA Cast again (even if it seems like it'll be for sequels at this rate for anything Crunchy/Funi). Amber, Dawn, and Sean are great additions to the cast.
The circumstances for the recasting suck, but I'm glad Stephen Fu is getting a new lead role and I know he'll do his best to honor Billy as Naofumi. Also, is Steve Staley the new go-to guy to take over dubbing prominent series? I wonder what Christian La Monte might be busy with. |

Billy did a fine job as Naofumi, but unfortunately, he won't be able to return due to external circumstances, so I'll do my best to give Stephen a fair chance.

Well, it was a wise decision. Given Billy's situation, I know the dub production staff would make the right call.
My prayers go out to Billy, his family and friends and ROTSH colleagues! Plus I wish Stephen the best. BTW, please include Rishia's VA to the cast list in the article. Thank You.

It's understandable that they had to find a replacement for Billy's role in the show (I wish for him a quick recovery).

When I started Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut I thought the main character was maybe voiced by Billy Kametz but when I looked up the cast it was actually Stephen Fu, so he seems like a good match as a replacement to me.

I had no idea about the Billy Kametz situation and that really sucks. I've never watched Shield Hero but I know him from Fire Emblem, Persona, and that one Pokemon movie, always really enjoyed his work.

I can understand that. I watched the first episode of this season, and it's genuinely impressive how close Stephen is. |
