So the Duke of Death with an age-gap and Saori Hayami playing a boy?

I keep being surprised at the voices Rie Takahashi can bring out...

If it was other way around, that was actually normal, considering Rieri already voiced the male MC before in Knight&Magic - but with her being the massive shota lover, that's gonna be damn hilarious.

What's with these damn female yuri authors abandoning yuri for straight age-gap? First Nio Nakatani and now Wakame Konbu. Weren't they happy that their yuri works didn't make enough money? This is so disgraceful of them. Yuri is already a niche market in Japan but people like them sure turning it into a joke and a laughing stock.

Disgraceful? For writing stories in multiple genres? What? Laughing

I wonder how explicit this series will get. Jahy got toned down a bit in the anime adaption, sadly.

I'm not upset at her drawing what she chooses to, I'm just upset that this is the one that gets an anime. Breasts Are My Favorite Things in the World is both full of fanservice and prime meme material, but no, the het manga gets an anime.

Honestly, seeing how much yuri Wakame Konbu has done, yet it's her non-yuri works that get animated, I really can't blame her for wanting to branch out.

I enjoy all of Konbu Wakame's mangas so it's a good new for me. While it would be surprising, i wouldn't mind seeing Breasts Are My Favorite Things in the World! in anime too or a 12min per episode Yume Miru Prima Girl!.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise! Very Happy

Just like it was unexpected with Jahy adaptation, it is great that we will get anime for this as well.

I rarely use word wholesome, but this is definitely something like that.

Btw, those of you who are mentioning explicitness, and age-gap, first learn the context before talking.

Seems like the author had a knack for dark-skinned girls.

I have little expectations for this one, the serialization already stretched the jokes, if this will be full length episodes it will be more boring than first episode of Annoying Healer, that also relies on quick few-page jokes.

my hope is that they will eventually run out of her non Yuri manga and will have to adapt them then.

Not a manga I was expecting to be adapted. It has a such a strange vibe; bits of humor, ecchi, suspense/mystery, all very subtle. And with only two volumes in English with the third coming out next month I'm still wondering where the heck it's going, so I'm looking forward to where the anime will lean.

Yeah, really didn't see this as anime material, at least not a full scale televison anime series. Maybe 5 minute episodes......
I like the english translated manga, and curious about the lady's back story, but what are they going to do in the anime?

Wakame Konbu hasn't abandoned her main yuri manga, Breasts are My Favorite Things in the World, which got a new chapter a few weeks ago, she works on three serialized manga concurrently plus the occasional side project or one-shot.

It stopped being so repetitive, stretching the one joke thin, after a while once Wakame Konbu started introducing the supporting cast. I hope the anime adaptation shuffles things around a bit so we get to see the supporting cast earlier than in the manga.
