I wonder what they're going to do with the whole Chris Niosi situation. Reigen's his most iconic character so it's going to be pretty noticeable, and I really don't know his current situation.

This is a good thing, don't get me wrong, but Crunchyroll has gotten big enough that whatever they license doesn't really surprise me or feel exciting anymore - it's kinda just expected now. Sentai acquiring TMM and that vampire show felt way more exciting and I don't even have Hidive.
Again it's not exactly a bad thing. It's just kinda 'well, of course they have xyz show now'.

This will be interesting because he has popped up in other LA dubs recently but in smaller roles.

I think they'll probably keep Niosi. He's started popping up in dubs again and I don't think his status is near as controversial now as it was back then.

Not making a judgement call here since I don't want the thread to devolve into that, everyone's free to feel how they do about the situation, but based on what I've seen in the past couple years - between different directors and studios working with him, how his overall reputation with his peers appears to be, etc... I doubt he will be replaced. But it will just depend on what CR/Bang Zoom's casting director decides so no one knows until then.

IMO, I'm personally comfortable when I hear CR (or Hidive) have picked up something that I am interested in because that means it won't be in Netflix or Disney+ jail.

Very happy that it will continue to be on CR, so my husband and I will watch it once it's dubbed. It is a shame, however, that likely it will not air on Toonami, just as S2 hasn't aired yet. Watching S1 on Toonami was a blast, and we waited a long time to watch S2 on there, but finally gave up on that and watched it on CR awhile back. So very likely we'll be doing the same thing for S3, if we don't decide to do the same thing we've been doing with Spy x Family and watching dubbed episodes as they come out.

Unfortunately the shows that are the exceptions are often worse off for it (look no further than Summertime Rendering if you want a current example), so it's every bit worth the sigh of relief now to know that worthy titles are in good hands.
