Question#1: Does anyone know if the game will include all the same songs as the Japanese version? I used to play the game in Japanese arcades, but never bought an English localization on console before, so I'm unfamiliar if they have issues with licensing or replace songs for English audiences like some other Japanese rhythm games have done in the past.
Question#2: Do they sell the affiliated Switch taiko drums in NA? And if so, is it still in retail? Or would I have to buy used? |

I'm not sure about how similar these ports are to the arcade versions (I've only ever bought the English console versions), but I can answer question #2: No, the NA release for the previous Switch games didn't include a drum controller, but the UK version did, so if you want one, you'll have to import. I'm not sure if they're still available retail in Europe, but I was able to get my hands on one pretty easily earlier this year in Taiwan, so I assume they're still in production.

re: #2, Bandai NA is selling the drum through their online store, so you don't have to import
re: #1, there probably won't be a complete song list to compare until after launch, but I believe the previous switch game, drum n fun, was the same (not sure about the DLC). I would imagine it should be similar this time, but if there's a particular song you want, best to wait for the full set list |
