I'd only known RWBY by reputation before watching the anime, and the first 3 episodes were pretty rough, but the rest of it has been really good. I look forward to the new episode every week.

You should check out the original series. It's a little clunky with its animation early on, but each volume gets better. I love the fight scenes. I too can't wait for Volume 9, and where that story goes. I jumped on board to RWBY with Vol.6, went back and watched the previous volumes, and have been watching since.
