I think pretty much all of these ladies have had experience singing the ED theme for show's they're in, and Miku and Ayana especially know about working together in a group what with Quintuplets (I wonder if they were somewhat inspired by that here).
I'm still waiting for the twist reveal... |

"Flop Around" is such a funny song title to me, lol. I look forward to hearing it! They definitely assembled a good group of seiyuu for it.
Even with what little footage they've shown off so far, there are a few little details we can speculate on. Such as the protagonist's clock briefly jumping ahead several months when it hits the floor, or the fact that he strangely has a framed photo of himself on his shelf (with some oddly empty space to his side in it). Heck, even the basic premise of the him running into all these girls immediately after a shady TV horoscope predicts as much is odd in itself, lol. It definitely seems like this anime will have some interesting things about it that the advertising so far is keeping on the down-low. But at this point it's hard to say what the nature of said "twist" will be, whether the story tone takes a sudden shift after a few episodes, or if it'll be a "cheerful first half, serious/dark/sad second half" kind of deal. It could be either of those or neither. The fun thing about original anime is that you really don't know what to expect. Regardless, Yasumoto, the writer of this series, is a visual novel writer who's contributed to stuff like Chaos;Child and Steins;Gate 0, so I'm excited to see what kind of story he puts together for an original anime like this. |
